Here's what some educators have said about Zogworks . . . |

" . . . even though the books were written for elementary aged children, I was amazed at the amount of information presented and the superb way in which the books were written. I was carried away to a world of adventure and, as an adult, learned a great deal about the topic." Cindy Schultz, Program Coordinator " . . . students will remember ideas presented in this way. It is a wonderful use of the power of telling a story in order to teach. Ironically, it is underutilized at all levels of education today, and your approach is truly innovative." Albert S. Miles, J.D., Ph.D. |
" . . . please accept my congratulations on your insight into creating a tremendous educational tool. It is clear that this instrument of learning is one that can be applied to all grade levels. Our concern for the development of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of each chld is a good "fit" with this wonderful teaching method. Pepar R. Anspaugh, Executive Director |
" . . . the materials are "user friendly" . . . the material is cross-curricular, the vocabulary is age appropriate, and one of the greatest strengths to the Zogworks are the questions written into the stories. This enhances retention of knowledge in addition to providing opportunities for higher-level thinking. Karey L. Shafer - 2nd Grade Teacher |

" . . . Zogworks has enhanced my teaching and made lesson planning a breeze. In Kindergarten we have used Zogworks based around wild animals, and Zogworks designed to help with conflict resolution and friendship. My students have learned the names of wild animals, how to identify the differences in animals from different countries, habitats, continents and more. We love Zogworks! . . . in my experience with Zogworks, I have used it to teach the skills necessary for the interpretation of the Atlas. First graders have learned to use the index, locate a specific country in its correct alphabetical listing order, read the guide letters and numbers, together with the page number and then find the page and use the coordinate letters ultimately finding the point of coordination. Many other map skills evolved in our use of Zogworks
– i.e. direction, legends, colors, countries, states, cities, Frances Edwards,

. . . "I'm awestruck . . . your basic concept is so sound: young minds are open to expansive information and positive ideas via imaginative and fun story-telling. You must have a special gift." Anthony Schepis
